A baptism of fire into the world of high intensity charter yachting. Fortuna Star was a 2 crew yacht, shared between 4 co-owners and was also available for charter. This resulted in over 30 weeks per year with guests onboard. This was the yacht I really cut my teeth on and established myself as a competent charter Captain. I thrived in the fast paced environment and relished the opportunity to work with a variety of guests with challenging itineraries. We cruised throughout the Western Med with our main areas of operation being France, Corsica and Sardinia.

Winters were spent conducting extensive refit works and planing itineraries for the upcoming season. We operated under a strict budget and pressured deadlines to accommodate the plans of our guests and always exceeded expectations year on year.
